Whilst we all hope never again to be in the position of schools being shut down for a significant period of time, there may be an occasion, such as a burst water main, where school is unexpectedly closed for more than one day.

In these circumstances KS2 children would access remote education via Google Classroom. As all children already have log in’s and are familiar with the platform.

For a short emergency closure activity details for KS1 will be ParentMailed however in the event of a prolonged closure google classroom will be activated for our younger children and user guides are available below.

Reception children and parents already have access to Tapestry and any remote learning would be shared via this secure digital portal.
